New Puppy and Simple Nail Art

Polish Addicts,

I have been the worst blogger ever -_-.  But my life has been busy!! For nails I have 2 coats of Orly Snowcone (tied for my favorite blue ever along with zoya yummy.)  and I just used LA Colors Art Deco in White and Gold Glitter to make simple little stripes.  I did a lot of peoples nails for proms and this was a design i used a lot.  Enjoy!

This is my new best friend.

Orly Royal Navy and Nfu Oh 52

Hey Polish Addicts,

This is a combo that I had swatched before and knew it looked amazing but had never done a full mani. Well here it is!  I used 2 coats of Orly Royal Navy which is stunning on its own.  Then I added 2 coats of Nfu Oh 52 which is a gorgeous blue/purpley jelly base with reflecting green flakies.  I wanted this to come out blue, because if you just use 52 on it's own, it has a more purple appearance which was not what I was going for.  I love me some flakies... Enjoy!

Blizzard Nails!

Hey Polish Addicts,

Where I live, there is supposed to be snow so these nails reminded me of a blizzard!  Or bubbles!  Either way I like them :)  I used 2 coats of Snowcone by Orly, which I was lucky to find at my ulta the other day and it might just be my new favorite blue ever!!!!!  Then I used a white and some dotting tools to make different dots!  Quick in easy, but I think it's cute!

Candy Cane Nails

Quick Christmas post!  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all :)!

I used 2 coats of Orly Reel Him In (a great christmas red) and LA Colors art deco white for the lines and a silver glitter striper from icing!  I liked them even though they're so simple :)

Funky French with Konad m57

Good Morning Polish Addicts!

I have a nail design for you guys that isn't crazy but it's fun but yet sophisticated.  These are the nails that I chose to do for my clarinet audtion.  I started out with the idea of just doing a french manicure but then I got bored with that.  So I added so pink lines with silver glitter over them.  Then I stamped some flowers from m57 with a thin white polish to get that subtle affect.  I added some yellow dots in the center and stems with silver glitter!  I actually really like this.

Enjoy!

Products: Orly french tip point blanche, forever21 nail art pen hot pink, la colors art deco silver glitter, la colors art deco yellow, la colors art deco white (for konad), konad stamper and scraper, plate m57

French Manicure

Fellow Polish Addicts,

Sometimes after doing a lot of crazy nails, I think it's nice to just do a classy french manicure.  Here is how I do mine!  This is my way, it's not very good but heres how i do it.

1.  Apply base coat (I use nail life gripper)
2. Apply white to your tips.  I use orly point blanche which is an opaque white with a thinner brush to make doing it on short nails.  I usually do two coats of that and I freehand it.  I just find tape and nail guides to not look natural and just a pain.
3.  Then I apply one even coat of sally hansen insta dri petal pusher once the white is completely dry.
4.  Lastly, I seal it with a coat of China Glaze Fast Forward Topcoat.

This takes me about 3 minutes of actually painting time and by 30 minutes everything is just about dry.  Here are some pictures and I know it's not close to perfect!
