Zoya Malia and Crackle

Hey Polish Addicts,

School is out for me so I should get back to posting about every five days! Woop.  So here is a quick post with Zoya Malia as a base, and China Glaze Black Mesh crackle on top.  I really like the way the crackle was applied because it wasn't too thin where you can't see enough base color, or to thick.

PS  Malia is like my favorite purple ever ;)

New Puppy and Simple Nail Art

Polish Addicts,

I have been the worst blogger ever -_-.  But my life has been busy!! For nails I have 2 coats of Orly Snowcone (tied for my favorite blue ever along with zoya yummy.)  and I just used LA Colors Art Deco in White and Gold Glitter to make simple little stripes.  I did a lot of peoples nails for proms and this was a design i used a lot.  Enjoy!

Update and Easter Nails and Fashion Blog!

Hey Guys!!!

So I know I haven't posted in literally forever.  And I'm so sorry!! But I have been so busy with school and traveling that I just haven't had time.  First, I created a little blog to share my new favorite thing (after nails) which is fashion!  I don't really want this blog to be too popular... but I just like it for even my personal self to just share my facination!! It's http://emmasfashionadventures.blogspot.com/ so go check it out!  Here are my easter nails!! Sorry for the weird pic.... I really didn't have time to go out and use my camera because it's also been giving me some trouble... so I took a picture on my macbook... weird I know but you get the idea!!  The pointer finger is Color Club Take Me to Your Chateau with white acrylic paint for the bunny and migi pens for the face, middle finger is OPI Rumple's Wiggin' with migi pens for the egg design, ring finger is China Glaze Lemon Fizz with migi pens for the face, pinkey Icing Casino Green and migi pens for the design, thumb is OPI What's With the Cattitude with acrylic white paint for the clouds, the grass is La Colors Art Deco Mint Green, and the eggs in the grass are migi pens.  Enjoy and I will get back to my normal posting and normal pics... lol.

I hadn't really done any cool nail art in a while so I decided to make little balls with eyes becuase I thought it would be cute.  I started with a white base and used migi pens for the lil friends.

Meteor Shower and Lightening Bolt

Hey Polish Addicts,

Today I have 2 coats of Meteor Shower by China Glaze.  I had heard different things about this color on the internet before I bought it.  When I got it, the color looked perfect.  It is a dark blue jellyish consistancy with many different glitter pieces in it.  The glitter is kinda chunky but with good topcoat, it's all good.  I used some crackle, Lightening Bolt by China Glaze.  I was kinda dissapointed that the glitter didn't really show to well with the crackle.... Oh well!

Fun With Crackle

Hey Polish Addicts,

Here is a post using Broken Hearted from China Glaze Crackle.  It's a pink shatter and if you don't live in a hole, you probably know about this collection :)  The base color is Color Club Twiggie from the Poptastic collection and I'm totally in love with this mani.  It reminds me of watermellons in the summer time.

Nautical Nails and HUGE Haul

Hey Polish Addicts,

I feel like it's been quite some time since I've done something actually cool with my nails.  So here are some nautical themed nails.  Base color is 3 coats of white cap by china glaze.  Then I made the plaid design on all fingers but the ring, with la colors art deco in Red and Blue Sapphire.  I used some golden steel beads to for and anchor on the ring finger and I don't think it looks half bad!

Now onto the haul part!!! This is a two part haul from transdesign.com!  Enjoy :)

Teenage Dream with Hearts!!!

Hey Polish Addicts!

I've reached over 100 followers!!! Thank you guys so much :)  Anyway!  This is 3 coats of Teenage Dream by OPI from the katy Perry collection.  This is the only color that I picked up because none of the other ones really interested me.  I really liked it and I think this will be my valentines day mani.  Then I added some konad (pinky m65, ring and thumb m59, middle and pointer m3) using sinful colors black on black.  This is a little random story but so weird.  So I went up to my room to grab my camera to take a pic, and I turned on the radio and the song Teenage Dream was on.  I started freaking out.  Okay end of story :)

China Glaze Phat Santa

Hey Polish Addicts,

All of this snow... well.  I haven't really been inspired to do anything cool.  So here it is... Ugh. 2 coats of CG Phat Santa from the Tis the Season to be Naughty or Nice collection.  Its a deeper tomato red jelly.  I really like this!!! It looked nice and neat.  I just added some white stripes on my pinky using la colors art deco in white. *thats what I do when I don't know what else to do....*

China Glaze Crackle Preorder Transdesign

GO GO GO!  China glaze crackle collection is available for preorder right now!! I am getting all of the colors along with sea spray because it's back in stock lol :).  They ship on the 11th which is totally great for me because origionally they were available for order on the 15th.  I have seen some swatches and I have a feeling that these are going to go fast!!!!!!

Zoya Indigo and Konad m64

Hey Polish Addicts,

I received Zoya Indigo like 2 weeks ago from that FB promotion and i decided to use it.  When I saw it in the bottle I was so excited because it was a deep blue which is always amazing, but it looked sooo packed with holographic particle glitter.  But when I applied it, the glitter was buried :( bummer.  So I added some konad using Clarie's Platinum and plate m64.  Don't mind the terrible konad, i haven't done it in like a few months so I kinda forgot how to do it. LOL.

Nfu Oh Flakie 56

Hey Polish Addicts,

This is 2 coats of Nfu Oh 56 over 3 coats of Sinful Colors Sanfansisco.  It was a pretty thick mani but the end results were awesome :).  God I love flakies.  I want moreeeee!  Enlarge the first pic to see how deep the flakies are.

Quick Post!  2 coats of LA color art deco sky blue for the tips (freehand) and some clear for some little dark blue rhinestones in the half moon!  I like this :)

Stormy Nails

Hey Polish Addicts,

This was kind of a fail... but I figured I would post it anyway :/  This is three coats of China Glaze Recycle and then I used migi pens for the clouds and kinda filling it in with another white to make it look puffy and cloud like... then I used migi pen in yellow for the lightening and Zoya Yummy for the rain drops.  Eh... this is kinda bad :(

Snow Leapord Nails

Hey Polish Addicts,

Where I live we got like legit 21 inches of snow.  It's insane.  So I was inspired to do these snow leapord print nails.  I used 3 coats of CG white on white, Zoya Trixie for the silver spots, and a black striper from icing to outline the silver.  I like it a lot :)  Happy snow days :)!

Orly Royal Navy and Nfu Oh 52

Hey Polish Addicts,

This is a combo that I had swatched before and knew it looked amazing but had never done a full mani. Well here it is!  I used 2 coats of Orly Royal Navy which is stunning on its own.  Then I added 2 coats of Nfu Oh 52 which is a gorgeous blue/purpley jelly base with reflecting green flakies.  I wanted this to come out blue, because if you just use 52 on it's own, it has a more purple appearance which was not what I was going for.  I love me some flakies... Enjoy!

This mani is inspired by Katrina's Nail Blog!  I love her blog so much and her most recent post gave me this inspiration!  I give her total credit for the design.  I hope she doesn't mind :/

I used 2 coats of OPI Rumple's Wiggin' from the Shreck collection as a base and some pearls and silver stones for the details.  I added some stripes with LA colors art deco in white.  I love this!  It could be my favorite mani ever?!?  hehe.  Enjoy

To Shake or Not to Shake?

Hey Polish Addicts,

I was just wondering if you guys shake your polishes.  If so, how often?  I get mine out of their drawers about every 2 weeks and shake it up!   Hehe.  Personally, I don't find that they bubble.  Here's a pic of shake up day!

Zoya Malia

Hey Polish Addicts,

This is 2 coats of gorgeous Zoya Malia. I love this color so much!  It's a gorgeous purple lilac creme.  Then I added some silver start rhinestones to my half moon cuticle area and some random white stripes to my thumb.  My little (big) bella pup loves the snow!  I just thought I'd throw in a pic of her cuz its really funny :)

My Perfect Mermaid Scales

Dear Polish Addicts,

I have been really busy so please exusse the terrrible pictures.  I took them on my phone lol.  My camera can't focus in dim lighting and I haven't been home for daylight.   But anywho! I went into sallys the other day and the gorgeous atlantis was there.  I flipped out in the store.  Haha anyway atlantis is a gorgeous green blue jelly with holographic particles.  It was 3 THICK coats but it was worth it!  Then I added a little flower decal and to make it mermaid scales... Nfu OH 50!  Yay!  My pictures stink.  But if you have both of these polishes.  DO IT!

Milani Jewel FX Gems

Hey Polish Addicts,

Here's a quick post of something I'm sure you've seen before but I figured I would post it anyway :)  This is Milani Jewel FX in the shade Gems.  I got this at CVS on the display with all of those one coat glitters.  This is a really cool color and a great substitute for Lippman's Happy Birthday.  If you find it get it!  Such fun to remove though =P.  But I use Zoya Remove + so it's not all that bad.

Sprinkle Nails Revisited!

Hey Polish Addicts!

I was feeling a little crazy so I whipped out my sprinkles and this is what I got!

I actually realllly love this.  Seriously!  It's so rainbow :)! Here's how i did it!
Start off with 2 coats of China Glaze white on white
Must completely dried and then make diagonal lines with the tape in the fashion the sprinkles appear
Paint the non tape part with clear and dip into the sprinkles.  But don't eat them afterwords!
Pull tape off immediately and arrange as necessary
I used la colors art deco in red, bright yellow, sky blue, mint green, china glaze peachy keen for the orange, and the purple was a claires 2 way nail art pen.  I love this!  So cute :)!

Blizzard Nails!

Hey Polish Addicts,

Where I live, there is supposed to be snow so these nails reminded me of a blizzard!  Or bubbles!  Either way I like them :)  I used 2 coats of Snowcone by Orly, which I was lucky to find at my ulta the other day and it might just be my new favorite blue ever!!!!!  Then I used a white and some dotting tools to make different dots!  Quick in easy, but I think it's cute!

China Glaze Crackle Collection

Hey Polish Addicts!

I was peeping out transdeign.com and saw that china glaze crackle collection is to be available in january!  With the anchors away collection, tron collection, and now crackle?!? I love you china glaze :)
In case you don't know what a crackle polish is, you layer it over another color and it cracks for example.... opi is coming out with a black one with the katy perry collection!

Nfu Oh Holo #63

Happy New Years Day Polish Addicts!

This is the Nfu Oh Holographic polish #63.  It is so amazing my pictures can't capture it.  But here are some failed attempts.  I can't compare it to the OMG collection by china glaze but i'm pretty sure the holo effect on these is so much cooler.  The true holo pictures are blurry sorry!
